My ride to my club's Sunday breakfast ride showed 26.6F on the R1200RT display as the lowest temp of the morning.

RTW today, but no "improvement" on my standing. Our cold temps don't usually come round until February.

Yesterday it was 41F leaving the house and this morning it was 44F, but it's going to be in the 80F's heading home today, so I had to wear my mess jacket. I had the electrics up all the way and it was just barley warm enough! :eek:4:

BTDT, i.e. electrics with my mesh. If too cold, I just throw on my rain jacket over my mesh, makes all the difference. Although with your commuting experience, I'm sure you've done this too.

Oh yeah, I had a down vest under the electric liner. I was right at the threshold of being warm enough VS starting to get chilly. Any cooler and I would have had to use the rain shell :D

Don't you want the down vest over the electric liner, trying to keep the heat in?

I usually use my solid jacket for those type of mornings (except when we have days like today), it does warm up the vest nicely...but mostly I use the vest for the sides where there is no heating element.

Slowly getting pushed out of the top ten with no opportunity to ride and "improve" my position. :( Envious of all of you no matter what the temperatures you're "forced" to ride in. Ride on!

Yeah, a rare few will get to be contestants in this game, but it's fun to watch! This morning was my coldest ride so far at 37°. Unless we get some unusually cold weather here, I won't have a chance to break into the top 10.

Okay, this probably doesn't count, but I'm posting it anyway (sorry Paul ) Weather doesn't get any better than this on November 26th here in Minnesota. Started out at a balmy 52 degrees and seen a high temperature of 61 degrees F before arriving back home. Nice short 140 mile ride to Spirit Lake in Northwest Iowa. Had the bikes put away for a long winters nap, but woke them up today to go for a spin. What a great late November ride. :D

That's pretty good... I could never get my wife to go out at that temp! Anything much below 60° or so and I'm riding solo. ;)

Finally got a kind of nippy morning for this mornings 52 mile ride at 27 degrees but get back to find it won't even make top 10 lol. Next week it's supposed to be cooler.

Yeah, I had a 26°, but it'll get colder around here soon. (I hope... what good is winter without cold and snow)

I'm guessing some of you will get some low numbers with the colder weather we're now having here in much of the USA. Still not that cold for me... 43° coming in this morning.
