14F is the lowest the temp gauges show on both the ST and my CTX. I imagine the same is for other Honda bikes. When expecting lower temps I'll carry an aquarium thermometer I bought off Amazon that reads as low as -50F and up to +158F for the sensor (but the main electrics only works from -50F to +122F... as if that's not enough). I can't imagine needing an aquarium thermometer to go that cold or hot but them's the specs on this one.

Bested yesterday by 2 degrees on this morning's ride.. 16 today. Yea I have an aquarium thermometer left over form the original cold ride contest. Hanging on the wall upstairs in my mc clothing room. Guess it will get put back into cold duty.

No ride to work today, rode the bus instead. Rather thick fog and below freezing temps mandated that. Reports of frost or ice forming on bridges and side streets captures my attention in this kind of weather. Later should be fine for riding though. Next week is looking to show us some temps close to 6*F possibly. We'll see.
I noticed that not everyone is doing this on an ST. Is this competition model agnostic?

Those of us here in Canada who ride on the prairies would only have four months to ride if we regarded the point where water freezes as any kind of barrier to riding.Ride on, ride safe.

oooh some great weather for this contest in our area coming up next week (fortunately or unfortunately depending on your outlook lol). Not supposed to get above freezing for like the next 10 days and I saw single digit lows in the forecast.

Had 2*F this morning... but too much ice left on the street in front of my house to get the bike to the main roads that were cleared so rode the bus again today. Hoping soon to see clear pavement out front. Expecting -1*F tomorrow morning and a few days in the next week another 5 below that but with chances of snow along with the cold.
Just a quick ride around town Christmas morning -11. In 2012 it was -12 Christmas morning and I made the 2013 calendar.

That said, the forecast for the next nine or 10 days in Cinti doesn't have a single day above freezing (rare for Cinti in December..this is February weather) and lows in the single digits a couple of days. Looks like I'm going to get to drop my places some lol.

So, is the -11° an official entry for this year? Wasn't sure you considered it worthy.
Dress the same as if you were going to ride snowmobile(except the boots) can fit snowmobile boots on the motorcycle. As for not worthy, I always try and ride Christmas day. If the temp drops further in to the -20's we'll have some real fun with sparks and everything....LOL
