Now maybe they'll be almost as good as the Pirelli Angel GT's :rofl1:
But of course, they'll be way more expensive, always on back order, and dealers will be scalping prices.
I'll stick with my Angels thank you very much...

Hey all,
I've never tried Michelens and don't think I ever will due to the escalated prices they charge.

Bridgestones forever for me. They stick like glue and last 15,000 to 20,000 miles for me.

A case of Good News/Bad News I guess. For those of us riding large (heavy) touring and sport touring machines, we'll have to continue to use the PR4 'GT' tires. The 'GT' version of the new Road 5 will not be available until sometime in 2019.

From Michelin's own site:
"MICHELIN Road 5 Standard versus the GT version

The above sizes of MICHELIN Road 5 tires are designed for naked bikes and roadsters such as the Triumph Street Triple and the Suzuki SV650.
Heavier grand touring bikes such as the BMW R 1200 RT or the Kawasaki 1400 GTR require the GT version of MICHELIN Road 5, which will become available in 2019. Until then please choose MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 GT tires."
