Put mine up about 10 days ago when the temperatures dipped into the 20's and the roads started icing up. I'll wake her up in April.

I like the way you braced the lift for stability and to take pressure off the hydraulics (though there is a bar on the HF lift). Kind of makes it hard to park a car under ole Marvin, though.

That's just terrible! Poor thing! :eek:4:

Says he; who rode in this morning with a starting temp of 44F... and will be in the 60Fs for the way home...:bk13:
Ain't it great, 55° F at 05:00 this AM. Just got back from a ride at 14:00, almost 70°F. Chunk.

And again Marvin's :06biker: down for his long winter nap. Put only 6,000 miles on this season :(. Have some upgrades planned for the spring. New fuse block, new fuel level sensor, new tank hose, finding slow leak in rear tire, adjust the steering head tapered bearings just a little loose, balance the air intakes which have never been done. Marvin now at 113,089 miles, still running great :thumb:. Didn't get to do the fall trip I had planned or the very boring rally that I have done the last 3 of them, wife had surgery on shoulder. Was shooting for at least 10k this season. Maybe next year.

When Chris and I move to Cedar City Utah, I'll be having to do the same thing, but not as extreme (only three months-maybe), I hope!

Put mine up last week. Our back roads where I live started icing up about a week and a half ago. As soon as our roads start getting clear I start riding again. Around the end of March is when I get it out. I do all the maintenance on it over the winter.
