This duo combined riding with making music on Thanksgiving

Brenda and I were blessed with a Caribbean Thanksgiving this year. On Turkey Day we rented a 110cc Honda Dio scooter to explore the undeveloped eastern beaches of Cozumel. We happened upon these two happy guys just riding along on their Honda scooter. Sub 125cc bikes hugely outnumber cars on the island.

Haven't been to Cozumel since 1988, and loved it because of its undeveloped charm (and the world class scuba diving didn't hurt either). Has it remained the small sleepy village it was back then??

Last time I was in Cozumel I saw a whole family riding on a scooter. Husband and wife had helmets,jeans, long sleeves, boots ect. One kid was sitting in front of the father with shorts no shoes or shirt, holding a baby in nothing but a pamper.

It has no doubt grown since then but aside from a city few blocks around the cruise ship piers it is probably much the same.
