Thinking before Moonshine this year. Looking at Saturday March 31st. 2018.

What do you all think?? Input PLEASE.

I didn't see any thing else going on then. Hopefully the weather will be good.

Gary,
I assume this will be Saturday the 31st. I'll plan on attending. Has to be warmer than right now!

I responded on Facebook - just wanted to reply here also. I would have to leave at 4 a.m. to get there by 10.
Going to look at accommodations (come over the night before) before a firm commitment - right now a definite possibility.

Interested in hydraulic fluid changes (front & rear brake, clutch, rear shock preload), and coolant change. A starter valve sync would be kinda nice - that might be first on the list.

Easter commitments may put a damper on things . . . I hope not.

Totally spaced out that Easter will fall on April 1st. That makes March 31st. actually out for me also. Will rethink and look at March 24th.

With Easter being on April 1st, it looks like I will plan on setting the date to March 24th. Keep the inputs coming before I start the official Tech Event thread.

Thanks, Gary.

Looks good with me too. Heather doesn't work, but it's unknown if she doesn't have something to do that isn't on the calendar.

I ended up getting in on the safety course on standby because many people didn't realize that either.

Gary -

March 24 sounds good to me. If I get all my winter maintenance done, I may just assist others.

In the most general terms a Tech Event is where a member (or sometimes a vendor?) hosts a gathering of ST-O members (and friends) and those with technical skills work on bikes of others who are less confident or lack the space and tools to do their own maintenance.

Often attendees not only learn more about their ride they also learn how to do some things themselves. They're often less dependent on dealers (some of whom aren't called STealers for nuthin'). And you have a chance to put faces to user names make a few friends and maybe go an a ride.

Brrrrr, sounds interesting though. I have to look at the calendar and figure out where Springville Indiana is and hope that all the salt is off the roads by then.
