I have a 02 ST1100 ABS/TCS and I'm wondering what letter I give when I order or look up parts.
The microfiche I was looking at had the following and I'm not sure which is mine. I believe the letter refers to the trim.

ST1100A
ST1100AC
ST1100AA
ST1100A AC

Looking up my VIN number say's the trim is "A". Am I correct in thinking my bike is the ST1100A?

Not trim level.
ST1100A the 49-state ST1100 with no ABS and no evap canister.
AC = California version
one more A would indicate ABS

Thanks Dean, that helps.
My bike does have ABS TCS system. I'll need to look at my bike or VIN to get the whole picture.

I have often wondered what that extra letter meant. Here in the Uk we have the letter A or not, followed by a letter for the model year. So we had, for example
St1100 T - the T representing a 1996 model
St1100 AY - the A indicating the ABS model, the Y representing a 2000 model.

My current ST1300 is a ST1300 A9, which is a 2009 model - built in 2013.
The next variation in the Uk was the ST1300 AE which was a 2014 model.

The model year is reproduced in the VIN as the 10th character.
