    OkieSTOC VII 2018, Oct 4-6

    OkieSTOC VII
    Clayton Lake State Park, OK
    October 4-6, 2018
Break camp Sunday morning the 6th.
    -- RSVP Here --

Clayton Lake State Park Info: http://www.travelok.com/listings/view.profile/id.1601
Reserved the Area 2 Pavilion again. Turn Left immediately at park entrance off Hwy 271. Continue south across low water crossing and up the hill (approximately 150 yds from hwy 271). You will see a park restroom on the left. To the right will be the reserved Pavilion. I'll try to have the ST Banner up by Noon Thursday. Pavillion is reserved for 3 days (Oct. 4,5 & 6th).

Iíve rented Cabin #1 (the south one) again for 3 nights. Anyone that wants to, can use this cabin for a hot shower. This will save riding or walking (about 200-250 yds.) to the new main shower house. It has coin operated HOT showers- $.75 buys 3-4 minutes.

The Cabin price went up to $75 per night for 2018...Event date is now considered part of "Peak Season". All 3 cabins are identical.
If you want to rent a cabin, you will need to call Gary 918.569.7981. He will ask you to mail him a check, to the address below, for the first night stay to reserve your cabin.
Clayton Lake SP 170591 US Hwy.271
    Clayton, OK 74536

Camping will be $7 per tent this year. No limit on number of tents per site or persons per tent.
I think the RV sites are $19 (may have $ increase too). We/I will pitch a Tent at RV site E-19.
Gary (the camp host) asks that we pitch tents in designated campsites...those with a concrete table or at RV sites.
Sorry, but level ground without rocks is a premium at Clayton Lake SP.

Clayton, OK is 5 miles North of the SP. It offers a "New" (late 2016), Choctaw Grocery & Gas Store (100% 87 octane), Dollar General and 2 or 3 places to eat. Lil' Mamaís Kitchen just south of Clayton on the east side of Hwy. 271, seems to be the nearest favorite for the ST group.

Don't want to Camp or no SP Cabins available ?....
Clayton Country Inn= http://www.travelok.com/listings/view.profile/id.1599 (*this is 2miles north of SP.)
    A & A Motel= http://www.travelok.com/listings/view.profile/id.39 (17 Rooms)
    Sardis Lake Cabin= http://www.sardiscabins.com/index.html

I've not stayed at any of these, so I have no recommendations.

******I will update this Thread later with Lunch RTE's and Camp Dinner Plan*****
RTE's for Lunch Friday and Saturday should post on home page under OkieSTOC (as event gets closer).
    Friday dinner at Camp.
    Saturday dinner at Camp.

I'll have a coffee bar at Pavilion each morning, also a small grill, a few extra bag chairs, power strip and firewood.
There is a 120V outlet at the Pavilion, water and Restroom are close by.

I guess it's 'peak' season because of the Bigfoot festival.

I'm in, although I'm bummed that OkieSTOC and BRG are not back to back this year... that's been my "double-STOC" the past few years.

Too much white... I'm working on it!

You could switch it this year to RockSTOC/NatSTOC as a double and then just do Okie and BRG as two separate events... lol

Going to try and make it. Being new to Motor Camping it depends on how I fair with the others I'm planning on attending.
