My best Guess is the bag pictured on the ground is - Candy Glory Red for the 1992 and 1993 USA models. But I'm not at all sure.

The back story is I bought this NOS Bag along with a seat thinking it was the match for my 2001 bike in CandyWineberry Red……..whoops wrong color.

I really like the color what to do?

Maybe buy another ST1100 in this color….Yep that may be the solution :)

Thanks

Yep, Appears to be Candy Glory Red. The only other red - Pure Pearl Red ('95 to '97) is a bit different.

Yeah I would say the candy glory red. Not the wineberry red nor the '95-'97 red. Did you buy it from Honda? It should list the color code on the paper work.

Ron- I bought it from an individual and there was not any paper work from Honda. The woman told me it was in the house she bought, NOS never installed - she then looked it up on Honda and got the wrong color in her ad for it and was also aware of the list price but was Ok to bargain with.

The UK has had 5 red colours that I can make out.

My first 1100T (1996) was a deep Wineberry Red - code R114-CU - You can't mistake wineberry, it is a very deep dark red, hint of purple.

My ST1100AY (2000) and my ST1300 A6 were both Candy Graceful Red - R151CU - quite a nice deep red

My current A9 (2013) is Candy Glory Red R101CU. Redder then Graceful red, brighter. The photo in my avatar is this colour. As far as I recall, this came out in the UK with the 2008 model changes.

The 2014 UK model was Candy Alzarin red which apparently is code R 345 C - but I have only got google sources for that. This is a deeper red than the Candy Graceful red, and out of the later 3, much to be preferred.

IN 2002, the ST1300 was produced in a much brighter red - orangey in comparison to the Glory, Graceful and Alzarin. Ambassador Red, with code R275 - from memory it looks a bit like Bush's Avatar. It doesn't appear to be a candy colour - ie a translucent colour which shows through to the metallic undercoat.

If I had to guess, given it is an 1100, I know its not wineberry, and it looks closer to the R151CU Graceful Red. But to be honest, although I can tell the Graceful and the Glory apart if they are side by side, I have photos of both models, and sometimes they look like each other, depending on the light.

I have attached a couple of photos which might help distinguish.

The left photo shows two red ST1300s
The one on the left (with the jacket on the screen) is a 2002 or 2003 model. Ambassador Red R275
The one on the right (with the silver swoosh) is my A9 2013 model In Candy Glory Red R101CU
In the background you can see an ST1100 in Wineberry Red R114CU

The right photo shows three red ST1300s. The furthest away, with the silver swoosh is my A9 2013 model In Candy Glory Red R101CU
The nearest red bike is the same colour.
The one in between is the darker R151CU Candy Graceful Red on a 2004 model.

But you can see the problem - My A9 Swoosh model in both photos, is the same one that is in my avatar - yet they look to be different colours.

This has been pretty informative - Since Honda seems to use the same paint names and codes on different models I'll be able to figure this out.
