I know what you mean. My new resolution is no more than 5 years then something different. Two reasons 1. resale value 2. Getting older still need to try different stuff. With that said we will see in I can keep to it. My FJR is now almost 3 1/2 years old with 25000+ miles.

Trading in a bike is a losing proposition.
The local Triumph dealer offered me a mere $3000 for my ‘06 Tiger with 30,000 on the clock.

FYI, there's a new 2015 Moto Guzzi Norge for $13,999.00 at Echo Cycle in Edmonton. The seat height is quoted as 31.9", but I read in review of the 2014 Norge on Rider that there's a factory option gel seat at 30.7". The review was very flattering, as were the comments from the Guzzistas afterwards, and I've always liked the look of the Norge.

I like the Norge except for the fact that there's nothing behind the seat. Adding a top box makes it look tacked on.
But they do sound brilliant!

You could say the same about the look of the ST, especially with some of the large top boxes. :)

I would like to thank everyone who answered my blog. In the end what we agreed to do is sell the BMW K1600 and buy another ST1300. Our 2007 ST has 106,000 miles on it and we would look for one with about half that. In the end I would have two bikes that run well and a parts bike if I need it.
Yes, the bike is beginning to be too heavy but during the 10 years we have owned it, it has never been dropped. We felt that if we bought a smaller bike we couldn't go on longer rides do to a lack of space.

AGAIN thanks.

I'm intrigued with this (and a gold wing) when I get old(er)....
http://www.tiltingmotorworks.com/
That looks amazing, I could imagine adding that to my existing Bike Just because I like it.
Also, it looks like it would be a great all Terrain/Snow possibility
3 Wheelers were always Weird and NOT Motorcycle like, this is different.
Here's one From Jay Leno's Garage https://youtu.be/T3TumQ-ueMU

Only for Harley and Goldwing at this time
