Great! Found the upgrade for my 3" critter/action cam... :clap2:

Anyone a clue how to enforce the crash-bars on my ST to hoist it? Methinks the 3x M12 bolts won't do...

Ah the Sigma Bigma. I've got two— one for my iPhone and one for my iPad.

Alright, the quick-couplings arrived.
Their size suits action-cam and bike use more, then the rather large classic types available (square thing shown on left).

Fixed up another gadget... [emoji41]
Nice for panos or even night sky time-laps...

There is just so much good equipment out there! I'm not intending get into broadcasting so the 1080 30/60 fps will do me for a few more years at least. I just got this month home download speeds fast enough to watch in HD. Best I was able to watch before was 480 p? The quality of the 4K format is awesome, and memory is getting cheaper but I'll wait at least another couple of years before I switch. By then there will probably be something better again.

Yes, but the progressive speed of technological evolution is reverse proportional to the durability of named...
I mean the moment you buy a "brand new" release, its already outdated... not to mention the obsolesce of the item itself and/or its support... (like when you've to trash a brilliant, perfectly functioning flatbed scanner, only because Win10 doesn't feature *.dll's for it anymore... BTDT, p!..ed me off big time... :???: )

But I think I lurked around the issue of "filming on da motorsickle" long enough now, computers grew fast enough and editing software is affordable now (not so long ago one had to pay a fortune for a Pinnacle release plus a video card plus adapter cables...)
Went a while with the "GoPro or china derivate?" question when that Sony piece catches my eye... hook, line and sinker
Love that thing, the WiFi remote with the little monitor is awesome and perfect for when the cam is tacked anywhere onto the bike fairing...
Sure, traveling gets slightly more complicated now, like a bag full of cables, chargers and accessories...
OTOH who would have hauled a full grown VHS camcorder along on a ride?

Well, the motorized pano-platform transfers some gear noise into the camera housing, thus its microphones...

But:
my selectable directional (90 & 120°) Sony ECM-MS907 stereo microphone is fully compatible while providing excellent sound quality; so its more stuff to pack, but we will clearly hear the crickets chirp, the ants stampeding and the pterodactyls sing when filming outside...
Just need to find a wind deflector for this thing now...

Well, finally did it and threw some mounting hardware onto the ST... (basically over the massive delay in delivery of those DC719 attachments)

Love that Live-View Remote with full access to all camera settings :8):
While already at it I had the camera on on the way home, to see how reliable the stabilizer works and how the chip deals with fast movements and light changes...
Tried (ehem... still learning though ) a new, open source video editor named Shotcut (avail for 64 and 32bit WinTel, as well as iOS machines) offering quite intuitive operation.
