If you're looking for a self-paced ride, check out this one. I rode it last year on my VFR800 and enjoyed seeing the countryside, especially SoDak and NoDak. Oh, and finally checked NoDak off my "states-ridden" list :) I plan to repeat the ride this year, but on my ST1300 :-D

The SMACKDAB281 Run is an annual, 1-day ride from the (claimed) geographical center of the U.S. (Lebanon, KS), to the (claimed) geographical center of North America (Rugby, ND). Riders can register, or just show up and ride. Some continue on to visit the International Peace Gardens the next day, approximately 30 miles north.

For details, go to: http://smackdab281.org/ or http://smackdab281.org/Smackdab-Press-Rel_2018-02.pdf

See you there!

M.H.- A Group of us from CoMo.....were gonna do it. We couldn't understand the ordeal. IF it was a Iron-Butt Rally...or all there & back in 2 days. Never got a clear answer from anyone. How many went in '17?

It's not an Iron Butt Rally ride, but, you can do your own if you wish. We gather at the marker in Lebanon, leave before dawn and arrive about 12 hours later. But, it's the first weekend of the longest day of the year :) Most of us arrive on Friday and motel it in Smith Center, KS, the night before.
