Does more than one copy of the STOC # database exist? Meaning if Don's house burned to the ground tomorrow, would the STOC database still exist? And if it does (e.g. Don keeps it in the Cloud) does anyone know how to access it if Don meets an untimely demise?I've recovered the STOC # database, but as yet haven't completed the access to it. But it is intact, no worries.Include:
Until I come up with a way to make it user-update-able, if you want a STOC#, just
send me a PM, here or on st-riders.net.
- your real name,
- email address,
- your city,
- state (province, region, etc)
- country,
- telephone number (optional) and
- if you have a name for your STeed, that name.
I'll add you to the database and issue you a new STOC #.
Hopefully I'll get time to do a proper registration system soon.
Thanks for your patience!

IIRC, a STOC number is required in order to register at ST-Riders.net.What is the purpose/function of a STOC number?
Is it needed to access or accomplish something?
I do not recall ever having read what purpose it serves.
For identification to local police. What is the purpose/function of a STOC number?
It shows the local police that you are exempt from speed limits and passing restrictions. Is it needed to access or accomplish something?
If you are ever pulled over for speeding or passing on a double-yellow line, show them your STOC number and they must immediately release you without a citation or warning.I do not recall ever having read what purpose it serves.
Yes.I know this post is 17 YEARS OLD but are STOC numbers still a thing?
OMG - is this Don Feyma? This is the Aussie in St. Louis. I had a candy apple red 1993 model ST1100 for 10 years and did about a million smiles on it. Then bought the 1300 from Fred Ziglar. I believe my STOC number is 399. Sold Fred's bike 10 years later and went back to my roots (R1200GS).I've recovered the STOC # database, but as yet haven't completed the access to it.
