I sensibly waited until the bidding wars were over... then no more models showed up on eBay! 
I still want one (or two)...
The model does look a bit clunky in places, but at least there is a model. There was never a die-cast of the ST1100.

Okay, I got an email back from the guy with the eBay auction. He has three STs (I get the blue one!) and said he'd be willing to help us locate a source in Malaysia (which is where he is). He said the price runs US$20-25 for new ones.

I think I should get a silver one since I located him and posted up after you had contacted him, but that's just me. ;-)
I will buy one. I would like red, but I would live with whatever. Since it is just a model and won't be moving, I can live with one of the slower colors.
Put me down for a red one...that's the hot one!
I'd be interested, any color. A can of black spray paint will make it all right.
