Alternator bearing replacement?

You should probably start a new thread asking for the parts from some recent voluntary 40amp alternator upgrader. Might want to try ST-Riders.net also.

Thanks I didn't realize how old the post was.

Do you have the bearing numbers needed? I assumed you changed the brushes as well. I have a used 10 year old 40 Amp on the way to replace the dead 28 amp. It would be nice to get the bearings in advance. Thanks, Bruno
