LOC STOC and Barrel II

Where: Riverside Campground - Spring Green,WI

Site #21 again.

This is going to be a very minimum amount of organization as possible. There will be at least morning rides on Friday and Saturday.

It is a very large site and will have room for 20 - 30 tents if we do not spread out too much.

Several restaurants in the area and the one at the camp ground had very good food and basic campfire supplies (Beverages of choice and ice).

I will set up the group camping and the rest is up to those that want to attend. Check out what they have to offer. There are several motels in the area if you want to attend and do not want to camp. It is less than 2.5 miles from Riverside to any in town.

They offer Canoe and Tube rentals if anyone is interested. You will need to reserve one as this is a very popular thing to do on this part of the Wisconsin River. Option 2 is I have a canoe and a good friend has one also and we might be able to set up a short run if only a few want to do a trip.

Reservations are set for site #21. Thursday night start and leave on Sunday. NO NEED to do anything on your part except show up. Just drive right to the site, do not stop at the office as I will be collecting the money to give to them on Sunday. Cost is $6 per night per person.

Take Shifflet road south from Kennedy Road. You will run into the restaurant/office at the end of the road. Go left of the building and follow the road to the far end of the campground, it will turn to gravel about half way. We will be the last site on the right. I will be there Thursday afternoon.

Gotta say this past weekend was great. Some folks could'a picked up their own beer cans, tho.

I am in the early stages of planning a trip out west for next June. We have chosen this STOC event as one to hit while we are out and about. I may be there.

I would like to attend but this is the same weekend as the national Maxiscooter rally in northern MN. My Dad is going to attend the Scooter rally and wants me to attend with him. It would also be a chance to prerun a few areas before MNSToc.
Might just have to duck out early once my Dad finds out how much fun he can have and head down to ride with you guys. Two rally's in four days might be fun!!!!

This event will be here sooner than we think. Hard to imagine camping right now with all the snow we have on the ground.

Funny how warm weather will take care of this problem.

Agree! Any time two STs get together it's a rally. One ST? It's a ride.
