Hi Larry thanks for thepictures. I have just purchased the Delkevic s/s downpipes which also look great. Did you have any major problems getting the old downpipes off. mine has done 15,000 miles

Back when I was rebuilding GL1000's, I had the header pipes blasted and ceramic coated. Looked better than the stock chrome/crud catching shields. My oldest had over 74,000 miles on them and they still shined up nicely. Just be careful and don't scratch the coating.
Ceramic can be done in colors other than silver.

A while back I posted pictures of my pipes after ceramic coating. Well finally got them re-installed along with my Staintunes.
