OK Skip, after more than a month of Sundays, here I am at the Roswell Antique Market in Old Roswell, GA. Thnx for the co-ordinates cause I was stumped as well. Had GoogleEarth fly me there!





New Tag...My great-grandmother was born in 1859 on a farm near this covered bridge (actually this bridge was built in 1888 on the site of former bridges).
110 years later in 1969 as a 22 year old I crossed it every day during summers to work a construction job about a mile away on what was one of the largest projects in the state of GA at the time. The bridge was still in use and hundreds of workers (including heavy dump trucks) crossed it daily. I often feared that it would be destroyed, but it made it and is now a protected site and nice little village park.

I forgot about a Dallas rider when I placed the Tag....I came down Hwy 61 right through the heart of Dallas on my way home to Fayetteville. Would've stopped for a visit if I'd known you were there.
