MD: Tag

Here's the old tag:
Monocacy Aqueduct. Cheers to ibike2havefun for choosing such a neat place! :bow1:



What an amazing structure. The information board said the Confederate Army tried to blow it up twice and failed due to it's robust construction.
It has also withstood massive flooding over the years that actually submerged it entirely!


And now for the new tag:


Certainly not as cool as the last one, but it was a very hot day and this was kinda on my way back to base.
And being a farm boy, I thought it was a nice stop.

Yeah I know, but based on last summer I've been hoping you'd be back up this way, at least long enough to move the tag. Sadly, the Crossroads BBQ joint is defunct; it was the last in a long line of names hung on the building. The name changed through the years but they consistently served the same great food.

I'm around too, just been busy with trips and work. Not as active here since this is not available on tapatalk.

Anyone, anywhere, any time. Come 'n get it! Or invoke Rule 8 and start a fresh one- I dropped it at its present location over two years ago.

Sadly, as I am without a motorbike I am no longer eligible to play.

When I was eligible to play I enjoyed Tag a great deal, in MD and elsewhere. Part of the fun was being introduced to or chancing across new stuff and part was the periodic reminders of rides past, when I would go by previous tag locations.

I did the MD: A to Z alone from A through Y; someone else jumped in and finished with the Z a day before I would have done it. (I had already made an abortive attempt to find a sign for "Zittlestown", and "Zion Church" was next but it was too far for a quick go-get-it run. The guy who did get it used ZC, and lived much closer to it at the time.)

This hasn't moved in forever so here we go!

@Mellow, a puzzle for you: the post to which I'm responding is marked as "a moment ago" at 3:25 on 12/15/2023, then there are several posts timestamped from 2020 after it. What gives?

EDIT: Never mind. When the page reloaded after I posted this everything's in proper order. Must've just been a momentary glitch. <shrug />
