    PA Motorcycle Inspection Dates

My FIL went to get his bike inspected the other day. The sticker was due to expire in May. The shop put a sticker on it for October 2010. Seems because his bike registration is in April it must be inspected in Aug, Sept, or Oct. New PA system where bikes do not get inspected in colder months. Most likely due to the road test requirement by the mechanics. So be prepared when you go in for inspection. You may end up with only sixs months till it is due again. Linky to PennDOTs policy on this (see page 2). Seems kind of dumb that if your registration expires in May you can get it inspected in March or April. But if your registration is in April you cant get inspected in April.

With the way this state and PennDOT runs, does that really surprise you?
