FL-Western: Tag

Well.. we have a Northern and Central FL tag... I supposed no reason to not have a Western tag as well...

. . . hard to believe that Mac hasn't gotten this one yet!

Florida is shaped so that it is nearly 900 miles by Mapsource direct route miles from one end to the other. AL and GA should annex Fl south of them and call it good.

Yeah, and take a bulldozer to I-10 and put a couple curves in it.

West Florida is a bit farther east than east CA.

That's why we split CA into 3 sections. I rode over 1,700 miles to get all 3 at once.

Great idea Joe! Then they can be curvy like the ones in Texas! Those nice ones . . . raised up on top of those concrete pillars and all.

We could probably start tomorrow if Texas wasn't hogging all the dozers for more toll ramps!

1. I think I know exactly where the tag is, but, I'm riding out Tue morning heading to Colorado and won't be back until the beginning of Sep. So, maybe someone else will pick it up first, but if not, I'll get it then. I might try to get it on the way out and post up later (unless someone beats me to it).

2. My tag pick was taken the same day I posted it. If in doubt next time, check my "SPOT" and you'll be able to see where I've been. I'll note too, that I DO HAVE several pics taken at the park on previous visits - but if I used one of them what would have been my excuse to ride up there this time? (rhetorical) ; )

Yep, I like this game too. Now we just need to hope for more players to make it interesting.

This was a GREAT tag! I knew I'd seen this one but got thrown off by the excellent photo. I was pretty sure I knew where it was, but . . . rode by it several times before "seeing" it finally.

So, for your riding enjoyment, here's a new spot.

Shuey you sure do make it expensive to move a tag in your neck of the woods unless maybe if you are retired USAF it's free???

Shuey - Thanks for the offer but I didn't know when/if I would get by to move this tag this weekend. Hope this is still considered the "Western" Florida tag but here goes.

BTW - The road this was on was the best ride of the weekend so far - thanks!
