How many of you have asked for advice on parts or accessories and got an answer from our US friends here? It's fine until you go to look for it in Canada and find the part is either not available, or the shipping costs are way too much. This post is for Canadians to share the knowledge of reasonably priced parts or accessories that can be easily found in Canada or shipped at a good price from the US or from Ebay.

Please offer any suggestions and updates for this post. I will update the first post with the numbers and approximate prices if things check out. Enjoy!! :)

Best Buy auto parts near Quebec City is the Canadian distributor for the ColorRite line of touch-up paints for motorcycles. On their web site you can enter the colour code or do a search to get the code based on your vehicle year and model. Paint is available in the small touch up sticks right up to larger quantities to paint an entire bike. They ship via DHL.

David Silver Spares http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/ in the UK is a good resource, particularly for accessories, top box, electrical farkles etc,

Honda Directline http://www.hondadirectline.com/ is good for maintenance parts, buy in bulk to make shipping more effective ie I bought enough oil/air filters to last a life time! :biker:

Research is essential, it's amazing how much the price of identical OEM parts can vary from one supplier to another, for example the 12vdc accessory socket.

You may not believe this but the Kawasaki Dealer Edge Performance in Bradford On. can get Honda parts and gives a great deal on Tires. The mechanic treats all bikes like his own. I was very impressed with them and they were about $200 less than the quote from the Honda Dealer in Sutton.

For those in the GTA, if you want to order parts, etc. from the US, have it sent to the UPS Store in Niagara Falls, NY (1623 Military Rd.), and they will receive it for you (regardless of carrier). Small packages are $5 and large $10, tires $15. As long as you have your vendor put your phone number on the label, the UPS store will call you when it arrives, and it costs $1/day storage until you get there.

Walmart and other auto supply stores are in the area....

Pete's Superbike is the cheapest tire source in Canada. If you don't see what you want on the website just call him.

As far as tires and accessories go in Ottawa, you cannot beat Steph and Melissa at 613Motorsports.com in the east end of town.
Excellent pricing on tires, including free installation (off bike). Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
Top shelf helmets, leathers, gloves, boots etc., etc.
