I just acquired a 2005 St13 and could not find a mount for the Tomtom 1 xl that I've been using on my old bike.
I just put on the MCL risers with the hole pre-tapped out for the ram ball.
The tomtom came with an el-cheapo suction mount with a ball pivot that was unacceptable.
For my old bike , I had already purchased a nice handlebar mount, but couldn't see where to mount it on the new bike.
I had a small pipe left over from a ceiling fan installation that was just over 1 inch OD ( 1.04 actually).
I cut about 2.5 inches off to use .
I then reamed out the existing hole using a 3/8ths bit at a 45 degree angle.
(ok, I was careful to not let the work get caught in the drill and whip around and take out my eye .)
Next, I slightly flattened the end in a vise .
Ran a 2.5 X 3/8th bolt and washer through it and screwed it into the existing hole tapped out on the MCL risers for the ram ball mount .
Slipped on my old 1 inch mounting bracket.
Mounted and adjusted the GPS unit and it works great there .
