I know this is definately the wrong forum - but where are the covers?

Ok i wish to get a NR Defender 3000 the ST11oo.

Do I go XL or 2XL? Would like to fit top box - will the XL fit top box?

If only the 2XL will fit top box, will it be too loose w/o the top box?

Thanks,

Paul

Just added one... give me a few mins and I'll move all the other cover threads over.

Hey Paul, what did you find out? I don't see any replies and I'm wondering what you did etc?

Thanks

Motorcyclegear.com (formerly Newenough.com) says this:

The XX-Large size works on the following motorcycles with or without the rear top trunk; BMW F650/800GS, R1200GS, Honda ST1100/1300, Kawasaki Concours 14, Suzuki V-Strom, Yamaha FJR1300
The XX-Large size is your only option if you have a rear top trunk regardless of what motorcycle you have, even the Suzuki Burgman scooter with a rear top trunk needs the XX-Large.

I'd take an extra look at the NR half cover. I have a couple of full size covers and now just use the NR half cover...great for a garage dust cover or for a hotel parking lot. It won't cover the panniers....which I like, since it gives me easy access to the panniers for packing and unpacking. The cover has enough of a "Hands-Off" look to it to keep the honest ones away from your "touchables".
