BART - If you ate up a Z6 in 4,000 miles, I'm gonna be in trouble too! BTW, I already have a modified Harbor Freight Tire changer - and I've got my moneys worth out of it a long time ago! I looked at a Coats 220 (high quality manual changer), but they are little bit pricey - $1,400+ delivered. NoMar appears to be the next best step, around $650 for what I need. Good quality air-powered changing machines are way up there from what I've seen.

That's the one I am thinking of. After just getting charged $90 to mount and balance two tires, It is time to invest in a tire changer.
It has more then payed for itself in a very short time. It helps to go in with someone to save you even more. Good luck and post up if you get one.

I have run 2 sets of Storms and 2 sets of BT023s. got 11k and 8K out of the rear Storms, 14K out of the Storm fronts but bike shook like a belly dancer on speed. 8K out of the BT023 rear and the other is new. Around 8 or 9K out of the BT023 front and that's OK. Tired of the front lasting 2 rears as that way you are running on a 1/2 worn out front with a new rear. gvie me a fresh set. Ran a BT020 bias rear with a BT023 front, with me changing the rear at 14K with some left, but the bias rear is the only tire that I have had lock and slide with the rear brakes on dry pavement and resulting in 2 crashes. I guess BT023 for me.
