Re: ST-Owners.com Banner
She has a really rusty motor without carbs or cam, twisted frame, and pretty much all the ancillary components that connect thereto (minus parts already mentioned earlier.) There is a pretty much complete wiring harness, triple tree that appears to be straight, some relays and such hanging from the harness. Also, center stand an (apparently) good transmission. One of these days I'll actually hit'er with the air wrench and get down to component parts instead'a removing a part at a time. I've thought about getting the heads redone as a set of "spares" in case anyone needs a fast turn around. Do an exchange plus cost thingie. So, she's here if y'all need parts. | ||||

Ah, the advantages of an open forum and discussion. See, when we put our heads together good things happen.
As I was reading this thread, my thinking went sort of like this: 1. Oh, good idea Joe! 2. Hey, Fred and Steve have good points. 3. Joe has a second good thought, to give it to the member of the year. I like that. 4. Then AgSTreak weighs in, I know a good idea when I hear it, immediately my mind is made up, this is the right thing to do. It was cool that Joe and everyone else seen the rightness of this solution immediately as well. As for buying a new one, I think it should just come out of the membership dues, my $.02. |

Re: ST-Owners.com Banner
I'll gladly donate to cover the price of a new banner and any worthy charity. I vote for a year's worth of STOC events and signatures. The banner should go to the MOY.
It is only fitting that the the last group of signatures be collected at CTSTOC '07 and that Mellow present it to Todd. What a great ceremony that will be. See you there, Joe.- john |

Re: ST-Owners.com Banner
Holy Crap Guys!
I just caught on to this and I don't know what to say.. Yes I will cry.. Thanks Guys..You all know that I have felt that this was an extended family for me every since my first post. I have said this many a time, that I have a group of brothers here that I can count on for anything and you all have one in me... Well I am going to have make a spot in my brand new house and everyone from CT-Stoc should be there to raise it in my new garage..(only 8 miles from the campground) Under it will be pictures of STOC events, rides and all my ST brothers.. |

Re: ST-Owners.com Banner
Get over it you crybaby, sheesh. Todd you did it buddy and soooo deserve the honor. I feel very humbled and honored to say my name appears a few times on that banner with so many of my two-wheeled brothers of the road.

Re: ST-Owners.com Banner
Congrats Todd.
I didn't know you were building a new house and it will be great to see the pics of the banner being hung in the garage! Mark |

Re: ST-Owners.com Banner
Another thought on the banner: we should STrive (STrive I say!) to have the banner transported by bike between events. No sense spending on postage if it can be avoided.
I was (am!) proud to have transported the banner between Moonshine and CampSTOC this past April. |
