Anybody seen any of these lately?? The one that have had for about
30 years or so has bitten the dust... Have not been able to find one
on the web anywhere (there is a fellow on Craigslist that is looking for
one also). Handiest dang manual tool that I have ever had...

Some neighborhood kid broke into my Blazer in '90, stole my Screwball, left my stereo in place, and left his cheapo screwdriver on the seat. I've been looking for one at garage sales, flea markets, and everywhere else, since.

Sniffle, sniffle, I'm broken? Have you bought the Munchkin Pillion heated gear yet?

The price has gone up a bit, but now you get a big one and a little one...

I've got a couple of cheap imitations, but I mostly use my 19.2VDC Craftsman screw gun these days. Or air tools.

Got The Hulk's motor almost torn down but can't get enuff torque to break loose the head bolts. My cheap 1/2" drive air wrench wo't do it.

My sister has the Easydriver. I used it to install her ceiling fan.
It is useful, but not nearly as satisfying to use as was the Screwball, in the aesthetic sense (what, no red and yellow hemispheres?) or in the utilitarian sense (you have to remove the screwdriver part from the Easydriver orb and install it 180 degrees to reverse direction.
I bought a Sears ratcheting screwdriver, but I'll hold out to my dying day for another authentic Screwball. Would somebody leave me theirs in their will?: Hope I live long enough.
I already plan to outlive everybody that I don't like, but the mean 5-year old down the street has me worried . . . .

I thought it was this one:
You could be right... have not seen that one before...
Who made that one?? Could have sworn that the Easy Driver
was called the "Screw Ball" but maybe not..

I've got two of the original red and yellow ScrewBall Ratchet Drivers in the shop. They were made by S/V Tools, which no longer exists.

The bits were not too hard -- the Phillips bits, in particular, are chewed up.
