Howard and I were talking yesterday, when it occurred to me that all you have to do is ride 30,000 miles a year for 50 years....That's all!
His lowest year was in the teens (15k??) and his highest in the 70s. Last YEAR. He topped 1,500,000 with a 1300mi Iron Butt to San Fransisco for lunch last Sunday.
He doesn't own the oldest 'stitch going, it just looks that way...Over 600,000 miles on his jacket!
