Howdy.
Recently bought myself a '92 ST1100 (non-ABS/TCS) for cheap -- Poor thing had been rear-ended whilst stopped to let emergency vehicles pass.
Result of it all is that the rear wheel is damaged, along with some of the cosmetics and left-side muffler. P/O decided it wasn't worth saving. I say it is.
Sooooo I've found a rear wheel from a '98 model ST1100 for cheap at a wreckers'.
Catch is, I'm not sure if the wheels are interchangeable or not.
Place is too far away for me to actually check in person.
Just eyeballing them, I'd say there really doesn't seem to be much of a difference, year-to-year.
I'd assume that ABS/TCS-model wheels don't work, but I'm no expert.
Which is why I turn to you -- The experts.
As a sidenote i must say I'm thrilled to finally own one of these puppies and i'm very much looking forward to working on it.
It's like a spiritual big brother to my other bike, a '78 CX500.
