32k Valve check - observations

I just completed the 32,000 mile valve check. Almost half of the valves didn't move a lick since the 16k check. All valves are still in tolerance, although some are on the edge of tolerance. All measurements were performed using a go/no-go measurement methodology.

Here's the summary (see attached file for details):

7 valves did not change
5 valves got looser by 0.01 mm
2 valves got tighter by 0.01 mm
1 valve got tighter by 0.02 mm
1 valve got tighter by 0.03 mm

Since #3 front exhaust moved by 0.03 mm in 16k miles and is currently on the lower end of the tolerance, I'll probably perform the next valve check early (40k) to see if it is continuing to move.

I checked mine at 18,000 and will do them again at 50,000 miles they were right down the middle last time if I remember correctly...just need someone standing by that knows how to change them if necessary...:D

I checked mine at 18,000 and will do them again at 50,000 miles they were right down the middle last time if I remember correctly...just need someone standing by that knows how to change them if necessary...:D
I figure my odds of eventually having to adjust one went up a couple of months ago since my wife now rides an ST... :)
