well even with the holydays , the wedding , the cold etc... its in and working fine ! 14 volts even at iddle. did not have John Oos tools but having seen the kit ,made my own with apiece of 1/4 inch plastic a coat hanger and a cut off caliper pin from one of the alfa romeo brakes laying around. lets not forget the piece of broom handle tapered and soaked in oil to drive the new shaft . LOL .
yes it was fun .found the little fuse box at pep boys plugged in a volt meter from same source et voila!
