My interests in expanding my riding off road has been growing to the point I bought a 2013 Suzuki DRZ400S today with only 2100 miles on it and very light use! Hopefully I won't hurt myself very badly!!!IMG_8207.jpegIMG_8209.jpeg

looks like fun congrats. Just be careful. I raced Motox for 10 years and vividly remember how much it hurt to crash, even in the dirt lol.

Starting to look like my old garage with all the scuba tanks along the wall....
You need some brand new H-Valves for those cylinders though, which I happen to have 3 of packed away with my Kirby Morgan gear
Nice looking bike(s).

the DRZ400S is a great dual sport bike. I Still have mine though it is growing cob webs lately. It was my daily ride before I got the ST1300. but my commute back then was much shorter only across town. Now it is back to knobbies for off road only. It is a lot easier to pick up than the bigger bikes for us old guys and has the power to churn through the soft stuff.... enjoy!

Nice looking bike Wes. I'd have thought a good compromise between size, weight and power.
Reminds me of the XR400R's we used to ride at work, there was really no need for anymore power off road.
Enjoy yourself..........and be careful.

Quite a rowboat in the background.
The USAF airman I bought the bike from lives on a sailboat at a marina attached to a boat yard. Definitely not your average parking lot!

It's a well known secret the DR in DRZ stands for Doctor. One the plus side it will be lighter than the ST to pickup when it tips.

Nice looking bike(s).
Concerning the tank valves, I always dive with a 19 cu ft pony and a separate reg as a fully independent redundant gas source. We solo dive a lot, and even with a buddy, spear fisherman tend to get distracted and separated, so I do prefer a safety net. Kirby Morgan? Pretty serious gear! Or, do I sense a bit of satire? ;)

Congrats on the new bike Wes!

I also have a Suzuki to complement my ST - but mine's an SV650. I did a track day this year with it.
