Okay, this probably doesn?t qualify. As they say, ?A miss is as good as a mile?, but I think it?s worth a mention. I nearly lost it on a left turn the other day. I was advancing into the intersection and the guy coming through, going the opposite direction, was moving like a snail. So being the impatient sort of person that I am, I went further in to the intersection than I normally would in order to get around him. As I leaned into the turn, I rode right through the loose stuff in the middle of the road. Out went the rear wheel and down went my foot to catch it?and I did. However, the sudden jolt wrenched my back and left shoulder. The ST is a heavy beast. Since then I haven?t been able to ride. Looks like it is back to four wheels for a while. Bummer. :(

Lesson: When making a turn, stay in the track of the traffic and stay out of the sand trap.

Hope the back and shoulder heal up.
