Came out of the gym just now to find that someone had reversed in to my bike and knocked it over.

At least they left their number, just spoke to the guy and he seems decent - he is going to get his insurance details to me tomorrow.

Damage is to the right side - mirror and housing, tip over wing, indicator bulb holder, pannier scuffed and bar end.

Hopefully it'll all get sorted out OK.

Thats a damn shame about the damage and being unable to use the bike in the meanwhile but at least they left contact details.

Well I'm gonna have to use it, it's my only vehicle! Apart from the indicator it's OK to ride, I can even kind of see in the smashed mirror glass. Makes turning right at a roundabout interesting though!

Maybe you could make a temporary stick on from plastic mirror until the insurance kicks in.

I'm gonna gaffa tape the broken mirror housing on today, the main thing will be to get the right indicator working again - pretty much essential for roundabouts!

Glad there wasn't to much damage.
At least it doesn't count as a tip over.

Yeah it could have been worse.

Not a tip-over? I suppose it was more of a knock-over. I'll have to re-adjust my counter to zero again...
