Any News on the NT 1100?

Don't know if this is the correct place to post this, but here goes.
Does anyone know if and when Honda will introduce the NT 1100 for the US?
I just found a 2001 ST 1100 with ABSII and traction control in fairly good condition, 67,000 miles. am planing to keep it, but I would also like to buy/test ride and NT1100, but I find no updates anywher about it as far as the US market is concerned.

Right now it is only a European model.
I wonder if the new European 'pollution' regs are so different now from the US specs that it might not come over.

That video suggesting that we’ll hear something “very soon” about the US release was posted 8 months ago. (And we haven’t heard a peep.) So, I wouldn’t place any bets on NT1100 coming anytime soon.

I've tried it over this side of the pond. Don't feel like you are missing out, it's not that great to be honest. I was waiting to place an order and eventually got a 2 hour test ride, and was so comprehensively underwhelmed that I immediately bought my ST1300 from the dealers used bike stock. And it was the best decision I ever made

Curious, would your newly acquired bike have a Penske shock, aftermarket brake lines, fell over scratches on a saddlebag?
