Typically I am not hesitant to travel to look at a motorcycle/ car I am interested in. However, I do not have any time within the next few weeks. This bike is about 4 hours from me and one of the better deals I have seen locally. Price dropped from $7k to $6k, been posted for about a month. Thinking about offering $5k (even though I feel like the market is slowing and could get it for cheaper if I wait). Link to bike: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/600905238029304/

I also attached pictures that the owner sent me. Looking to see if there's a local member in Las Vegas that could check this bike out in person. I will compensate that person for their time and also buy lunch if things work out and I fly out to buy it.

Looks pretty clean and has Staintune exhausts ($$$). 13k miles is low and sometimes that's not a good thing but it does look well cared for from just the pics.

Yea, it's in very good condition from what I can see. Can't tell if seller is a reseller or not.

I might be pushing my luck trying to get lower than $5k.

I'm about an hour away in Pahrump. If you don't get anyone else I could check it out, though to be honest I try to avoid Vegas as much as possible.

It does look like a nice bike, reminds me of the '07 ST1300A I had...wonder why...

Funny thing, seller is telling me the owner had it for a year before selling/trading it in for a BMW.

I'll be out in Pahrump in Sept for a track day but that's quite some time down the road. Was thinking about waiting till then but afraid bike might sell.

Look at the age of the tires. And if there is no proven service history, you can use both to negotiate the price down quite a bit...fluids flushed, oils, etc.

Also looks like a professional car photo booth in the background......
