Please consider my humble application for the prestigious ST1300 100,000 mile award. I'd be honored to join the 35+ other club members who currently display this or better awards.

I picked up my brand new zero miles 2006 ST1300 on May 23rd, 2009. 1139 days later it has 101035 miles showing.

There are a lot of things in life that anyone can simply purchase and there are a few other things that can only be earned. This is certainly one of the better things I've "worked" for and will brag about it for years to come.

I remember reading something that Bob Higdon, a high mileage rider in BMWMOA circles, said when someone asked him how he logged so many miles year after year. His reply was "sit here and twist that". Of course you know it isn't quite that easy. 100k is many hot, cold, wet, long days. Congratulations on this milestone achievement. I hope you see many more.
