Hi folks,
well I'm nearly there, putting all the new brake stuff back together that is.
Today I was cleaning the banjo's just making them clean and ready when I noticed that some of the washers where not "copper" but SS, and unless my workshop has little green men some of the fitting did not have any????
Question, I know it should be copper, but why would somebody use SS or have I got it wrong.

regards Chris.

I'd be surprised if there was a fitting that didn't have the sealing washers.
You could check the fische at ron ayeres etc but I'd think they are all the same part number for the same size.

Maybe stuck to the bolt or the bottom of your boot? LOL.

Might be OEM was aluminum and some replacements were copper.
In a pinch you can draw down the copper and reuse them. But I wouldn't they're pretty cheap.

Had a check and they are SS. Been to our local motorfactors and got a box of them for ?7 so will be bleeding tomorrow,
First time for the ST1300 whatched a few clips on the webb and read the articales so fingers crossed it should all go well.

Other than the fact I have two left over bolts, now where did they come from :(
