I bought a Sears/Craftsman Battery Tender Jr knockoff years ago, and still have it. Have every connection known to mankind that connects to the end of it (except USB* and Apple*).

I had the Battery Tender plus for years. And my battery lasted for a long time. It broke, and I started using a Tender Jr. This winter I could not keep the battery charged. So now I have it periodically on charger, and I ordered another Tender Plus. That's my experience. I think I read the Tender Jr. has half the charging power and it was cold in the garage.

The Jr's max charging rate is 750mA while the Plus is 1.25A. The Jr has worked fine for me but I don't get much cold weather here. But when the Jr goes I'll get a Plus. The 5A Tender works well for my car battery.
