I bought a Sears/Craftsman Battery Tender Jr knockoff years ago, and still have it. Have every connection known to mankind that connects to the end of it (except USB* and Apple* ).

I had the Battery Tender plus for years. And my battery lasted for a long time. It broke, and I started using a Tender Jr. This winter I could not keep the battery charged. So now I have it periodically on charger, and I ordered another Tender Plus. That's my experience. I think I read the Tender Jr. has half the charging power and it was cold in the garage.

I am a superfan of the Ctek chargers

The Jr's max charging rate is 750mA while the Plus is 1.25A. The Jr has worked fine for me but I don't get much cold weather here. But when the Jr goes I'll get a Plus. The 5A Tender works well for my car battery.
