Installed it today (sorry no pics yet). Remarkably tight fit. Has a brace on the bottom and the cutout is just right to see the dash at my erect 6'2" height.
My Garmin sticks to it nicely (it used to fall of the windshield - hey I tried), using the suction cup windshield mount for the car. I have also got an Arkon mount for my not-so-smart phone, but haven't put it on yet, as it is more permanent.
Not being the best fabricator, I paid the $45.00 for it. It's strong, light and sturdy, also stiffens up the front when it's windy.
