It's close in appearance to the Michelin cross climate 2. I've read some on the GW forum who've used this one.
Having touched one of these in person though, it's a bit harder than I'd like. Almost feels plastic-y.

I did a lot of investigating the lastest brands of Dark side tires looking for the thinnest and roundest tire that would work on an ST1300 that would not rub the swingarm. I think that this tire maybe a winner, it is very round on the sides not flat like most dark side tires. I have about 1/2"...

Been using the Hankook for 30 years. Had them on the rear of my ‘78 GL 1000, my ’04 ST1300, and now my GL 1800 Gold Wing. Never an issue at all.
