Did the police version have linked brakes?

Reading some FB posts that are saying the ST1300 police version did not have linked brakes.
Truth or fiction?

I believe all ST1300s had linked brakes. Other than the top speed limiter, handlebars, rear seat hump and then some different swing arm pivot bolts later on those were the only differences from a civilian model.

The front brake lever applies some rear brake, too, and vice versa.

The police version of the 98-01 VFR800 (which uses a similar linked brake to the ST13) has conventional brakes.
