I finally hit a 100k on my 05. Its been a fun ride. I picked the bike up the end of February 2005 from Lake Hill Motors on a fly and ride. When the bike was a day old it had 610 miles and I hadn't followed any of the break in requirements riding it home. It still runs great and is my still my go to long distance travel bike.
It has been very reliable for me repairs wise. On top of consumables and farkles it has had the following repairs:
12K Warranty Repair SMC replacement.
25K Warranty Thermostat, Mechanical Seal on Water pump
63K Fuel Pump
92K Warranty water pump rebuild
97K Warranty water pump rebuild (dealer messed first rebuild)
It has had K&N air filter its whole life, I do 5K oil changes and the valves have been checked once at 92k.
