When I lived in Calgary, most of the commute was along the river on a dedicated bike path. The danger was the 2 km or so from the bike path to work on city streets.

It looks like a good chunk here in Victoria would be on paths as well but where it’s not, it’s on busy roads.

But you’re right, as with motorcycles, it’s the others on the road you have to watch for (bicycle couriers aside).

Ok...ok.....

Here's the ski report you were all waiting for.
Good day, overcast but warm. Snow at the lodge was definitely corn snow. But up the hill it was groomed courderoy covered with 2" of freshy fresh.
And the best part...... there was nobody there.
We skied on untouched, unmolested, smooth as grandmas featherbed, floating on clouds kinda snow for 80% of the day.
Did I mention the best part.....there was nobody there.

Here you can see no snow on the trees at the lodge, but up the hill, still have been cold enough to stay on the trees.

No lift lines.....

And further up the hill.
