My friend Steve's newest motorcycle. This K1200GT is a very nice bike with a unique airbrush design. The eye where the roundel would be is incredibly detailed. The thing hanging out of the mouth is a Harley Davidson exhaust pipe. It came with the stock fairing in original paintwork for a change-of-look back to stock if desired.

BMW never built the plane, just the engine. In the mid-1950's the post WWII restriction on building aircraft engines was lifted and they subsquently built many aero engines under license and developed their own designs. The aero engine business was sold off from the car/motorcycle company about 60 years ago. I think they are part of Rolls-Royce now. (Janes)

Three enthusiastic thumbs up from the Bones household. Mrs Bones says, "That's awesome!" over and over. What's that bit of scrap in the left side of the mouth?

It is a scrap of ripped and torn Harley Davidson exhaust pipe. As I understand it the previous owner was a HD rider that moved to BMW with this K/GT.

I like it ! I remember seeing awhile back where you could buy these decals for your bike. I bet they would look great on an ST:)
