Honda Aerial fitment -help required please

Do any of you "farklets" have fitting instructions for the O.E. aerial that fits to the front fairing? I have not removed the fairing as yet to investigate, but I think the hole to be made in the fairing may have to line up with a hole already made in the metal support behind. Would this be correct? Any help appreciated.:bow1: regards Keith
