This has been a rumor for the last 10 years.

There's also a rumor in the paddock is that Alvaro the Baptist is going to sign with HRC in World Superbike, under the promise that a new CBR1000RR is coming for 2020. I'll believe all of this when I see it.

Us hardcore VFR crazys have been asking about a V4 - 1000cc sport bike for like the note above.. .at least 10 years. There was a time when if that bike showed up in the showroom, I would have been the first in line. Now, since my knees ache more than they used to, I would probably pass. (Although, never say never. )

What the heck; go for a V-6.
Honda built and very successfully raced a V5, Laverda is the only company I know of that tried a V6, never successful, too many problems. Nice but not competitive.
