How do you remove the Bar End weight "retainer"

I am upgrading from the "o-ring" throttle lock to a Throttlemeiser. But i dont see how to get the retainer.. or the threaded part in the bar out.. anyone know how to do that ?

Hey xyzzy,

Here is a picture of the inner weight & outer weight.

The only thing not shown is the spring retainer at the end. You remove the spring retainer by pushing the tip down inside the hole near the end of the bar.

I shot you a PM as well with some additional info.

thanks milehigh: after posting the question, i looked again at the new kit and discovered it used the existing retainer..oops
mine will spin a bit so it looks like i still may need to remove them and work on that.
