Left front fork.

Hey gang,
What is this little assembly on the left front fork (1991 ST1100)? It has some wiggle/slight clunking, and I’m wondering if it needs to be rebuilt? What parts would I need to tighten it up?

That’s the anti-dive unit. It’s supposed to move/activate when the brake is applied. Do you have the Honda Service Manual?

I have the service manual(s). I should have looked it up in the book, but I’m at work now. It just has a little wiggle/clunka-clunka (not a huge deal, but I feel it). Seems like the little mechanism is worn out? Brakes work fine. Just replaced the pads the other day. I do believe the previous owner upgraded the front fork springs somewhere down the road.

Possibly one or more of these parts getting old/worn? The movement just seems “sloppy” to me.
