lower tank fuel line question.

When replacing the filter, make sure the tank has at least 150 miles or so on it. (Don't tilt the tank when it is full! DAMHIK :eek:4:)
If you want to be sure no gas is in the upper tank or in the hose that goes from the upper tank to the lower tank, ride your bike until the fuel gauge shows one bar.

From STWiki:
"One Bar

The upper tank and the hose connecting it to the lower tank are empty. The thermistor in the lower tank has been exposed to air."
